Originally intended to solve the needs of Houston’s petrochemical giants, our client sectors have expanded through the years well beyond the petrochemical industry. Our customers also include government agencies, manufacturers, K-12 school districts, universities, hospitals, and facilities of all kinds including high-rise buildings.
Amoco, ARCO, Aramco, Conoco, BP, Castle Metals, Dow, DuPont, Enterprise Products, Exxon, Kerr-McGee, Lubrizol, Marathon, Mobil, OxyChem, Phillips, Shell, Sterling Chemicals, Texaco, Unocal, and Valero.
For many of our petrochemical and government clients we have prepared the Integrated Contingency Plan, frequently called the “One Plan”. The One Plan integrates and meshes into one plan, rather than multiple plans, all of the requirements for all of the appropriate agencies that govern the client. (Ex: EPA, OSHA, DOT, USCG, and MMS)
We developed a One Plan for the U.S. Department of Energy’s four Strategic Petroleum Reserve sites.
We developed a comprehensive COOP Plan for a major federal agency in Washington, D.C.
We developed crisis management plans for the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in the Houston Medical Center, one of the premier cancer treatment facilities in the U. S.
We developed the Emergency Plan for the campus at The University of Texas at Austin, one of the largest universities in the U.S. with 52,000 students.
The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Education Activity has implemented our K thru 12 Crisis Management Plan for Schools® in all of their U.S. military-base schools.
We developed a customized emergency preparedness plan for Houston Independent School District, one of the country’s largest.
In addition, more than 12% of the 15,000+ school districts in the U.S. have purchased our Crisis Management Plan for Schools® in our generic or customized “living” hardcopy notebooks, flipcharts for teachers, and/or the electronic CD-ROM format. Berra’s website for schools is: www.CrisisPlans.com
We also develop plans for all responding and non-responding employees of high-rise office buildings (including BP/Amoco’s) and for community emergency planning committees and city emergency managers (including Deer Park, TX and La Porte, TX, areas densely populated with refineries and communities ).
We have developed the county Disaster Plan for Outagamie County, Appleton, Wisconsin.
